Nintendo, the last of the Big Three companies (Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony), had their turn today on center stage at E3, and they brought some good stuff to the table as well. They look to be making a push to handhelds as that is where their big announcements are heading.
Microsoft knocked their conference out of the park so it was only fitting that Sony did too. Sony brought it and then some and left a lot of gamers even more excited for the coming year in gaming. The company made some expected announcements but also had some surprises up their sleeves.
Wow I have so much blogging to do in the coming days. Connor is going to have a full run though of Bethesda and I’m going to go through the full EA and Sony conferences later today but I figured I’d start the day talking about one of my most anticipated games of the year, Star Wars Battlefront.
Yesterday, Bethesda took to the E3 stage to show off what is coming from their studios soon. Connor will take you through the whole press conference later but I’m going to go through all the Fallout 4 announcements here.
This week is one of the most exciting weeks of the year for gaming. The E3 Conference is the place where developers and companies announce the awesome new stuff gamers will get their hand on soon. Today, XBox took the stage and boy did they bring it.
Wednesday night the Glendale City Council voted to end their arena agreement with the Arizona Coyotes which could set the franchise into a spiral very soon. Just after two years after the agreement was signed, the city voted to void the deal using an out in Arizona state law.
The last two minutes of last night’s Stanley Cup Final Game 4 is the reason why I think everyone should at least give hockey a chance. It was a one goal game, the goalie was pulled, and pucks and bodies were flying everywhere. The Chicago Blackhawks were able to hold on and win but boy did the Tampa Bay Lightning make it tough.
The entertainment world mourns today as Sir Christopher Lee has passed away. Lee was 93 years old. He had been acting in films since 1948 and had a career that spanned both TV and movies with some music on the side. Lee was best known for his work in Horror of Dracula, in which he played the famous vampire. Recently, he rose to actor immortality for his roles in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies as Saruman and the Star Wars prequels as Count Dooku.
