Don’t let actor Ron Perlman’s age fool you. Even at 65 the iconic actor who has had roles in Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy, and countless other films has begun using the powers of Facebook and Twitter to push for the final installment in what would be the end of the Dark Horse Comics’ Hellboy trilogy.
The entertainment world mourns today as Sir Christopher Lee has passed away. Lee was 93 years old. He had been acting in films since 1948 and had a career that spanned both TV and movies with some music on the side. Lee was best known for his work in Horror of Dracula, in which he played the famous vampire. Recently, he rose to actor immortality for his roles in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies as Saruman and the Star Wars prequels as Count Dooku.
I know it’s 2015, and I know everyone and their mother, or let’s be real, their grandmother has a smartphone and access to social media accounts, but can we seriously stop leaking pictures and videos from movie sets? I understand why people do it: it’s interesting to see how production is going, how the characters look in costume, and really wanting to get your 15 seconds by being known for being the person that leaked a certain thing.
