Yesterday, I went ranked all the jerseys from the AFC so today I’m continuing that with the NFC Edition. I honestly think this conference is going to be much tougher, at least it was when I was going through the teams in my head. I think I might surprise some people with this one. Read More
Welcome to the worst part of the sports’ calendar. Baseball is heading into the All Star break, NFL Training Camps haven’t started quite yet, NHL Free Agency has cooled down tremendously, and the NBA is getting weird with DeAndre Jordan basically getting kidnapped in his own house last night. Now is the perfect time to rank the jerseys in each of the major sports leagues (NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA). Each league will be broken down into conference then have a league wide Top 5. Without further ado, let’s get started. Read More
It was a busy weekend for me with work, Arkham Knight, and crying about my Boston Bruins being a bunch of morons so I’m just getting to this now. On Friday, the Arizona Coyotes released their new uniforms at their draft party. As far as I know, this is the only complete jersey overhaul in the NHL this year. The Edmonton Oilers did release a new alternate this weekend which is pretty sweet that you can see here and so did the Washington Capitals. Read More
In my opinion, the NBA draft is one of, if not the best draft nights in sports. Unlike the NFL it doesn’t take a week (for obvious reasons) and it’s pretty exciting. Players are outgoing in their wardrobe choices, Adam Silver looks like a combination of a horror movie monster and a children’s show host, but no matter what, there are winners and losers. Read More
Nike takes over the NBA apparel contract in 2017-18 and it cannot come sooner. Adidas is my least favorite jersey provider of the big three (Nike, Under Armour, adidas) and that goes for every sport. Their jerseys in football are vomit inducing, their basketball jerseys, especially the ones displayed during the NCAA Tournament, are gross, and their baseball jerseys are getting to be just as bad. So yesterday, I rated the new LA Clippers look and I did not like them one bit. Some of you agreed with me on Twitter which means I was not the only one with taste. Last night, almost right after I posted about the Clips, the Philadelphia 76ers released their new jerseys. Here’s what I think about them.
Those who know me know that I get too into new uniforms. They don’t have to be for my team, they can be for any team, I just love seeing what teams are doing to change their look. I firmly believe that teams should put as much pride into creating the perfect uniform as they do creating their team. Their uniform is their brand, it’s what they’re known by. Read More
Nintendo, the last of the Big Three companies (Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony), had their turn today on center stage at E3, and they brought some good stuff to the table as well. They look to be making a push to handhelds as that is where their big announcements are heading.
Wednesday night the Glendale City Council voted to end their arena agreement with the Arizona Coyotes which could set the franchise into a spiral very soon. Just after two years after the agreement was signed, the city voted to void the deal using an out in Arizona state law.
The last two minutes of last night’s Stanley Cup Final Game 4 is the reason why I think everyone should at least give hockey a chance. It was a one goal game, the goalie was pulled, and pucks and bodies were flying everywhere. The Chicago Blackhawks were able to hold on and win but boy did the Tampa Bay Lightning make it tough.
